Samson Phommabout

Samson Phommabout is a visionary entrepreneur, filmmaker, and combat sports promoter, recognized for his work in martial arts, storytelling, and brand development. With over 8 years of experience in videography and photography, he has collaborated with global brands such as Lululemon, Drink LMNT, and One Family Athletics LA Dodgers pitcher Alex Vesia, as well as elite athletes and industry leaders, including Zoltan Bathory (founder of Five Finger Death Punch).
Combat Sports & Event Promotions: A driving force in the Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and MMA community, Samson has worked with Fierce Fighting Championship, Subversiv, and PGF (Professional Grappling Federation). he is Co-Owner of Subversiv Fight Club, a groundbreaking Combat Jiu-Jitsu promotion that fuses grappling, wrestling, and open-palm striking into an electrifying, high-energy format. His events bring together elite competitors, live music, and cultural experiences, redefining the combat sports entertainment landscape.
Philanthropy & Community Impact: Samson is committed to empowering at-risk youth and veterans through martial arts. His Grit Lab Fundraiser Gala provides opportunities for young athletes and those seeking positive change. His mission is to inspire, uplift, and create pathways for growth through combat sports, mentorship, and community-driven initiatives.
Creative Vision & Storytelling: As a filmmaker and content creator, Samson is dedicated to telling raw, compelling stories. His work includes documentaries, athlete profiles, and brand storytelling, including an upcoming documentary on Five Finger Death Punch’s 2024 rock tour. His ability to blend combat sports, music, and cinematic storytelling makes him a standout figure in the industry.

Josh Burnham

Dedicated to empowering at-risk youth with the resources, mentorship, and community they need to overcome life’s challenges. With a passion for helping young people build resilience and reach their full potential, Joshua helped create Grit Lab to provide youth with the tools they need to succeed.

As an entrepreneur with over 20 years of experience, Joshua has founded and operated multiple successful businesses. He owned and operated a thriving pest solutions company in New York/New Jersey for 10 years, where he recruited, trained, and mentored hundreds of sales representatives. At its peak, he managed over 100 sales reps and participated in speaking engagements on leadership and sales. His company was eventually acquired by Terminix, a testament to his ability to build and scale a business.

In addition to his pest control success, Joshua owns rental properties, founded a CBD company, and redesigned and sold mid-century modern homes. These diverse business ventures have equipped him with valuable leadership and operational experience, which he applies in his work at Grit Lab.

Joshua is also the President of Subversiv, a Combat Jiu-Jitsu league, and WyldStyle, a youth Jiu-Jitsu league. His dedication to youth development is evident through his volunteer work as a coach for his children’s soccer, baseball, and basketball teams.
Through Grit Lab, Joshua combines his entrepreneurial expertise and commitment to youth empowerment to create lasting opportunities for underserved youth to grow, thrive, and achieve their goals.

Tj Mitchell

TJ Mitchell one of the co-founder of GritLab 3Sixty, a company dedicated to fostering community-driven solutions and empowering underprivileged youth. With a background in real estate and portfolio management, TJ brings over seven years of expertise in strategic growth and operational development.

TJ Studied Strategic Communications University of Utah. TJ has also spent six years in nonprofit fundraising, where he has successfully built and led initiatives that connect organizations with critical resources. His extensive background within the nonprofit sector has fueled his passion for creating opportunities for youth to overcome barriers and achieve lasting success.
